St. George's shares Raya spirit with orphans

IN SHARING the spirit of benevolence on the occasion of this Hari Raya, St George's School presented cash gifts to the school's orphan students and students from single-parent families on September 15, 2011.
The principal thanked all the students, teachers and staff who contributed to the fund, collected over the previous week.
He pointed out that the bulk of the collection had come from the students and expressed his appreciation for their kindness and generosity.
The cash gifts were presented to the students by Rev Bishop Cornelius Sim, President of the School Board of Governors.
