What You'll Be Doing:
As our Computer Science Teacher, you'll be at the forefront of delivering engaging and effective lessons based on the GCE O Level / IGCSE syllabus for our Key Stage 4 students. Your role will be crucial in building their foundational understanding and appreciation of computer science principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Deliver exciting and interactive lessons aligned with the syllabus.
- • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that bring computer science to life.
- • Organize and lead exciting ICT-related activities and projects throughout the year.
- • Conduct valuable ICT training and workshops for students and staff.
- • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the school's ICT infrastructure.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone with a genuine passion for computer science and a desire to inspire.
Essential Qualifications:
- • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a closely related field.
- • A minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience OR a teaching qualification.
- • Proven proficiency in teaching popular programming languages like Python, Java, and Visual.Net.
- • Strong understanding of Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL) and basic design skills.
- • Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- • A valid Driving License and your own transportation are required.
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that captivate and clarify.
Desirable Skills:
- • Experience with Robotics programming (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
- • Knowledge of Computer Networking.
- • Familiarity with Graphics Software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
