Registration & Briefing : 7:15 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Monday - Thursday : 7:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
Saturday : 7:30a.m - 12.20 p.m.
Friday : 8.00 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. (Optional extra classes and co-curricular activities session)

School Semester:
There are four terms in a year. The dates of the four terms are in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Education, Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Classes:
There are two classes per level.


TEACHING STAFF

Teachers at St. George's School take genuine interests in all aspects of the development of students.

Acting as tutors to the students, the teachers will monitor the academic progress of the students and provide pastoral care.

Teachers here also work collaboratively to ensure the student achieves a wholesome academic progress. At the end of each term, a report will be produced based on the progress of each student; this report will be presented to the parent during the Progress Report Day.

MAIN CURRICULUM:

SPN 21 is the acronym for Sistem Pendidikan Negara Abad Ke-21, The National Education System for the 21st Century which has been endorsed by the Ministry of Education. Under this system all students in Year 7 and Year 8 will write for the School Based Assessment ( SBA ) and Student Progress Examination ( SPE ) at the end of Year 8. Students in Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 will write for the Brunei Cambridge GCE 'O' Level Examination conducted by Cambridge University at the end of Year 11.

Examinations from Cambridge University have been used by schools and colleges around the world for over 100 years. These prestigious qualifications are recognized by universities worldwide for their high standards and the skills and abilities that they develop in students.

Subjects Offered For Year 7 to Year 8:

All students are required to learn all compulsory core subjects and compulsory complementary subjects as well as one from elective subjects as listed below:

*Business, Art and Technology Studies is added to Y7 and Y8 syllabus to prepare students with the knowledge in Business / Commerce, Art and Technology / Computer studies prior to choosing the specific stream of studies in Y9.

Extra Curricular Activities:
St. George's offers a wide variety of non-academic activities. These activities are purposed to instill leadership qualities to students as well as to develop the interest and talents of the students to the fullest potential.

Meals:
Many varieties of 'halal' nutritious food can be obtained from the canteen.

Entry Requirement:
Each prospective student is required to take a written Entrance Examination and undergo an interview. The Entrance Examination covers subjects such as English and Mathematics.
