The Kindergarten Department of St. George's School consisting 10 teachers visited the Hornbill School in Seria on 14 Feb 2014.
Among the objectives of the visit are to share knowledge, ideas, theories and practices in the 'Early Years Foundation Education'.
We were warmly welcomed by the Head Teacher, Kathy Wood and the school's Deputy, Rajesh Thapa.
The teachers had a good opportunity to capture a lot of useful teaching information from their Assistant Head Teacher, John Redman.
They also toured the school site especially the Foundation Stage classrooms to observe high quality teaching and learning in action by the dedicated teachers.
The visit enhanced the learning support, teaching methods and learning resources.
A 'Question and Answer' Session was carried out at the end of the tour to enable the St. George's School Kindergarten teachers to gain more information related to the 'Early Years Foundation Education'.
The Head of St. George's School Kindergarten Department, Lily Sim presented a token of appreciation to Kathy Wood and it is hoped that the strong link between the two schools would continue in the future.
