"Artists introduce their visual ideas in various artworks to create something of aesthetic value" and St. George's School is proud to showcase the artistic creation of some young artists whose artworks reflect their talent.
On 26th May 2022, the Humanities Department (Art and Design subject) host an Art exhibition at the school compound. Taking part in the exhibition are 12 Art students from Year 11 and 3 students from Year 9 whose art pieces are displayed for all to see. Teacher Afiqah Hanum, the teacher-in-charge, shares that this exhibition is to encourage self-expression and creativity in her students so that they can build confidence as well as develop a sense of individual identity. Part of their course involves knowledge production where they learn to manage, create, process and share their artwork.
