On 12 November, our Year 1 and Year 2 had a Fun Day at the school compound. The purpose of this Fun Day is to enrich the bond between students and teachers through play, as well as to wrap up the school year with laughters and happy memories.
With the respective Year 1 class teachers, Teacher Rosemary, Cikgu Hasimah, Teacher Liza and our PE teacher, Teacher Sheeba, the students played two challenging games; ring toss and throw a ball into a basket.
In English period, our Year 1A students enjoyed a game of word bingo with Teacher Atiqah. After a round of word bingo, the students put their visual skill to test with a game of word shuffle. Similarly, the Year 1B played bingo with Teacher Hannah.
In Bahasa Melayu period, Cikgu Selomi and Cikgu Latipah encouraged the Year 2A and 2B students to showcase their artistic talents with a colouring contest.
After the class activities, our students jumped with joy on the bouncers that were set up at the KG playground. From the school management and teachers, it was heartwarming to see our little St Georgians learning through play after a year of transitioning from online learning to face-to-face learning.
