St George’s School young swimmers had their opportunity to take part in the Brunei Darussalam Primary School Swimming Festival which was held on Sunday, 28th May 2023 at the SHHB National Swimming Pool. The Ministry of Education (MoE) jointly organised the competition through the Physical and Recreation Division of the Co-Curriculum Education Department, and the Brunei Darussalam Swimming Association.
Representing St. George's School were Anna’Bella Mirza Mohamad Amin from Year 3A and Allendrei Fermin Tan Jie Wei from Year 5B.
Anna’Bella, a seasoned swimmer, took part in various events and emerged victorious; earning a total of five gold medals. Her hard work and dedication truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of her! As for Allendrei, a committed member of the school's Swimming Club since he was in Year 1, it was his first time participating in a swimming competition and it was a splashing experience to remember.
Congratulations to both Anna’Bella and Allendrei on their fantastic achievements at the competition! Thank you for being such an inspiration to our aspiring swimming club members. We look forward to more talented swimmers and great achievements!
