St. George’s School's Kindergarten Section hosted its annual book week recital at the Parish Hall on 14th September 2024.
The event, featuring over 140 students, showcased performances based on popular children’s books, highlighting the creativity and enthusiasm of the students.
In the morning, KG 3A students opened with a lively adaptation of The Ugly Duckling, followed by KG 2A’s portrayal of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and rounded off by a rendition of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by KG 1A students.
The afternoon session kicked off with KG 3B performing From Head to Toe, followed by KG 2B's There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly and concluded with Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? by KG 1B.
The yearly event, which aims to inspire a love for reading among the students while building their confidence in public performance, was enjoyed by all.
