Gadong, Brunei Darussalam — 11 September 2026
The St. George’s School Badminton Club Tournament 2026 was successfully held on 11 September 2026, at Centerpoint, Gadong. The event featured 12 doubles teams, comprising 4 girls’ teams and 8 boys’ teams. All participants demonstrated great enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout the competition, making it an exciting and memorable sporting event. Congratulations to our boys’ doubles champions, Sabin Gurung (Year 10A) and Daffaa Raihaan Putra Setiawan (Year 10B), and our girls’ doubles champions, Varshini Loganathan (Year 9B) and Jolie Tan Xing Yu (Year 9A), for their outstanding performances and well-deserved victories.
The tournament provided students with a valuable opportunity to showcase their badminton skills, develop teamwork and build confidence through healthy competition. It also highlighted the importance of discipline, perseverance and respect for fellow players.
