Parents’ Briefing for Newly Enrolled Secondary Students

St. George’s School hosted a briefing session for parents and guardians of newly enrolled students in the Secondary Section. The purpose of the session was to familiarize parents with the school’s guidelines and procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for their children.
The session began with welcoming and opening remarks by Deputy Principal, Mr. Luxman, followed by a comprehensive briefing conducted by School Principal, Mr. Janidi Jingan. Also present were Head of Section, Mr. Aywen, and Student Affairs Officer for Secondary Section, Teacher Apiza.
Key guidelines discussed included:
• Punctuality and Attendance requirements
• School Fees Payment timelines
• Disciplinary Handling Strategies
• Prohibited Items on campus
• Policy on Bringing Smartphones or Mobile Phones to School – currently being established and not yet implemented. A short parent survey will be sent out in the coming weeks to gather feedback on this matter.
